2017 Environmental Commission Meeting Schedule

 The Environmental Commission shall:

  • Conduct research into the use and possible use of the open land areas of the municipality.
  • Keep an index of all open areas, publicly or privately owned, and may recommend plans and programs for inclusion in the Master Plan and the development and use of such areas.
  • Study and make recommendations concerning open space preservation, water resources management, solid waste management, noise control, environmental appearance, protection of flora and fauna, etc.

The Environmental Commission consists of five members and two alternate members (if alternates are appointed) who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council.
